SHIFT UP and Level Infinite have rolled out the latest ‘True Flavor‘ update for Goddess of Victory: NIKKE, and as usual, it is packed with new content. This follows the New Flavor story event from last month.
The update features a new SSR character named Crust, the True Flavor story event, a new Side Story, a beta run of the Champion Arena, and various other gameplay additions and fixes. Let’s break down everything that’s been added with this content-rich update.
Goddess of Victory: NIKKE ‘True Flavor’ Event and Update Overview
New SSR Character: Crust
SSR Crust joins the roster as a Supporter Nikke under Tetra Line with a Water element. She excels at providing offensive buffs to all allies through repeated specific actions. Her Burst Skill amplifies her team’s damage by giving either distributed or sustained damage boosts, depending on the active buffs.
She wields the “Whip, Pop, Ding!” Rocket Launcher is available via Special Recruit from April 10 to April 23, 2025. During this recruitment period, she will also be temporarily playable at the Union Shooting Range.
True Flavor Story Event and Mudfish Side Story
As mentioned in the title, the True Flavor event centers around Crust and her culinary journey to please Bready. In this food-themed story, Crust begins to question if she can ever satisfy Bready’s taste, leading her to explore forgotten memories through flavors.
Alongside the major storyline, a new side story titled Mudfish is available for players who’ve completed Campaign Stages 6 to 15. This story follows the Little Mermaid, who washes ashore and meets a new companion. It can be accessed from the Command Center in the Outpost.
Champion Arena – Beta Season
The much-anticipated Champion Arena enters its beta phase, available for those who place 4th or higher in the SP Arena can participate. This new PvP mode includes simulated battles, prediction-based cheering, and exclusive avatar frames.
The competition will unfold in multiple stages like the League, Promotion Tournament, and Champions’ Duel. This kicked off on April 10, 2024.
Other Updates
Event Archives gets the Old Tales event added. The weekend FULL BURST DAY event runs from April 12 to April 14, 2025, while the usual updates, such as the Crust Menu 7-Day Login Event, will be part of the update.
