Goddess Order is shutting down on January 31, 2026, following the developer PixelTribe going bankrupt

Unexpected turn of events!

Story Highlights
  • Goddess Order will shut down globally on January 31, 2026, after PixelTribe bankruptcy.
  • Developer confirms maintenance is impossible due to lack of staff and operational support.
  • The shutdown came after three months of launch following a indefinite maintenance last month.

In a very surprising set of events, Kakao Games has announced that Goddess Order is officially ending its service on January 31, 2026, just three months after its launch. I used the word “surprising” because this announcement came following the bankruptcy of its developer, PixelTribe.

Goddess Order previously entered indefinite maintenance just one month after global launch

The announcement was shared directly by the Goddess Order team, who explained that while they tried to keep the game running for as long as possible, the situation behind the scenes made it impossible. This marks Kakao Games’ second shutdown, following Eversoul’s sunsetting in August this year.

With PixelTribe facing bankruptcy and no responsible staff left to handle even basic maintenance, the makers shared that continuing stable service was no longer an option. As a result, the servers will go offline permanently at the end of January.

Once the service ends, all in-game data will be deleted, the game will no longer be playable, and it will also be removed from app stores. Ads have already been disabled since the announcement went live, hence you won’t receive rewards even if you try to watch them.

Published by Kakao Games, the side-scrolling tag-team ARPG launched globally on September 24, 2025, after a soft launch earlier in July. The game stood out with its hand-crafted pixel art, fast-paced combat, and a trio-based knight system.

Something to add is that just last month, the game entered what was described as an indefinite maintenance period, with PixelTribe citing financial and operational difficulties. When the game came back, it was assumed all was good now, but it seems like it wasn’t the case.

December has already seen some surprising shutdowns, with names like King Arthur: Legends Rise, Blade & Soul Heroes, Real Racing 3, and TEPPEN already confirming their ends. Hopefully, there aren’t any more such announcements during the holiday season, at least for now.
