Honor of Kings: World showcases new gameplay trailer, reveals Boss Fights, Combat, and Characters

What's special?

Story Highlights
  • Crimson Beast from original game returns as a full-scale boss battle as showcased in the new trailer.
  • Primal Flow enables switching between four weapon types mid-combat.
  • More multiplayer modes and mobile version in development to match PC quality.

Honor of Kings: World opened pre-registration in China as announced at the SPARK 2025 conference, but the questions were only about gameplay. However, the latest gameplay reveal trailer finally gives us a proper look at what to expect in Honor of Kings: World, and there are some interesting things to share.

Crimson Beast, Kaiser, and Azure Beast will be part of Honor of Kings: World

The video, available via the game’s official YouTube channel, offers a detailed look at how the game’s combat will work. One of the biggest highlights is the Crimson Beast, a creature originally seen as a jungle monster in the original game but now turned into a full-scale boss fight.

After landing a combo, players can follow up with special talents to strike again, and even switch between two unique fighting styles during battle: Chrono Anomaly and Primal Flow.

As the latter, you’ll be able to switch between four weapon types during battle with ringblades, a lance, a hammer, and a sword. The video also showcased characters like Kaizer, who focuses on counterattacks using perfect dodges and parries to strike back.

In addition to that, players can summon legendary beasts like the Azure Beast to assist during combat. All of this happens in a visually stunning world, though the footage shown was from the PC version. The developers haven’t confirmed a release date just yet, but they did share a few exciting updates.

More multiplayer modes are in the works, giving you even more ways to team up or take on others in the future. On top of that, the team is actively working on the mobile version of the game, making sure it runs smoothly and looks just as good as the PC version.
