HoYoverse has once again got everyone talking. A new trademark called HoYoLand was filed on September 29, 2025, by HoYoverse under Cognosphere PTE. LTD applicant name. According to the listing, it’s still under examination, and no other official details have been shared yet.
HoYoLand trademark speculations range from a Disneyland-style park to large-scale events
Naturally, that hasn’t stopped fans from guessing what this could mean. The discussions surrounding this have already begun, and the name itself is so catchy that many are assuming something big, an experience you can have live and not on your small screens.
I think the most fun theory is the “Disneyland type” idea. With HoYoverse building such a massive universe through games like Genshin Impact, Honkai Impact 3rd, Honkai: Star Rail, and Zenless Zone Zero, it doesn’t sound too far-fetched that they’d want to create a place where fans can physically step into their worlds.
Some fans even imagine rides, concerts, and cosplays of their favourite characters, too, which is amazing fun. Basically, a real-world HoYo festival that never ends, and just like Disneyland, we can visit and have fun for a day.
Leaving this aside, there’s also the possibility that HoYoLand could be a global extension of the themed events they’ve already held. For example, in Korea, HoYoLand was a big offline event last year featuring mini-games, concerts, cosplaying, and even cars on display with character-themed designs of Raiden Shogun, Klee, Nahida, and others.
Of course, it could simply be a game. The name HoYoLand could fit a social gameplay element, maybe like a digital theme park where you meet other players, try mini-games, and celebrate events together online. Given the big lineup from HoYoverse in the future, we can’t rule this possibility out.
