Indus: SuperGaming’s India-inspired battle royale title to release in 2022

The game will take players to an Indo-Futuristic setting

SuperGaming has announced that they are working on a battle royale title Indus that will see a release in 2022. The announcement is pretty special for the Indian gaming community, who can boast about a “made in India” battle royale title for Mobile, PC, and Consoles.

According to the development team, “Indus is a place, a family with immense obstacles we overcame but we built a place to nurture us and people who trust each other. We are hoping to do what every game developer wants to. Make the best game that we can.”

Indus: What we know so far

A detailed update on the game was posted on the game’s official website. In the post the developers said, Indus is a made-in-India for-the-world battle royale for mobile, PC, and consoles with a 2022 release date. It’s being developed with the focus of bringing our take on Indian culture with a futuristic twist for gamers across the globe.”

They have made it clear that their main focus is on developing a game which has a lore that is based upon the culture of India. According to the developers the game will be “distinct but relatable along with guns and gameplay systems that you’d expect from a modern-day battle royale.”

They have further said that they are not developing the game to capitalise on the hype surrounding the battle royale genre rather they believe that they have gained enough experience with their previous titles MaskGun and Silly Royale. The gameplay of those heavily revolved around social and multiplayer interactions.

The team has further said that they are heavily focused on building a world-class experience for players. Their main goal right now is to complete the game.
