Humble Reeds has announced the launch of their beloved cozy frog-collecting simulation title, Kamaeru: A Frog Refuge, now available on both Android and iOS. It arrived on PC and console first and received a good reception.
Create your own adorable frog refuge with a variety of friendly frogs
What could be better than Kamaeru: A Frog Refuge arriving this festive season? I mean, you can now dive into this cozy title that’s all about nature and friendship. You step in as a kind soul, helping an old friend restore the wetlands of your childhood by creating a lively frog refuge, filled with friendly frogs.

You get to feed, breed, collect, and raise over 500 unique frogs while unlocking rare colors through fun breeding mini-games. And it’s really oddly satisfying and wholesome that we can even take photos with the in-game camera to document all the new frogs and complete our Frogedex.
You can restore surrounding areas with paludiculture, plant native species, craft goods, and more
Besides that, I found restoring the surrounding wetlands through the paludiculture process very immersive. Like, you can dig funds, plant native wetland species, and craft goods to sell in order to improve your refuge even further. It gives a fulfilling feeling as the habitat transforms under your care.
I understand why fans love this one, and I can’t wait to try it out myself. From decorating your habitat with furniture that shows unique frog poses to meeting friendly NPCs and collecting vibrant frogs, there’s so much for us to enjoy this festive season with this one, even though I don’t like frogs in real life.
Kamaeru: A Frog Refuge is now available on both Android and iOS. So, you can now download the game via your respective Google Play Store or App Store. Before committing to a full purchase, you can try it for free.
