Kombinera is a new mobile game being co-developed by Atari

Control multiple colored balls, each with special abilities!

Atari and Graphite Lab have come together to work on and announced the release of a brand new puzzle platformer Kombinera for a bunch of platforms, including mobile devices, both on Android and iOS devices on 7th April 2022.

Kombinera is a dazzling neon puzzle-platformer that tests players’ skills and smarts from St. Louis-based Graphite Lab. It will contain 300 levels of fiendishly challenging puzzles which will be found lurking behind a veneer of colorful shapes and simplistic controls.

Graphite Lab has been making popular mobile games for a while now with titles like Bratz Total Fashion Makeover and RollerCoaster Tycoon Story under their belt, with the latter being another collaboration with Atari.

Atari is one of the oldest names in the history of the gaming industry itself, with titles like Pong and Pac-Man being some of their bigger games. They were a pretty major player in the industry up until the gaming crash of 1983. It’s been a while since Atari launched an original title and finally, they are back with such an interesting game.

Control and get every ball to end of the level in Kombinera

Kombinera is a pretty vibrant and unique-looking game in which the challenge is to merge a bunch of balls that move together while also avoiding the various obstacles in the level. The game features 300 levels, a cool neon visual style, and an in-depth, complex, and heart-tugging emotional storyline.

In this game, you will get to control multiple balls, each one a different color with a different power, which helps them interact with obstacles of the corresponding color, and gives them advantages and resistances. The goal is to get every single ball to the end of the level.

Kombinera is a really fun project for Atari because it’s a modern game that anyone can play and enjoy on today’s platforms, but it also feels like a pick-up-and-play Atari classic, and that’s really what our mission is bringing high-quality gaming experiences to players while staying true to Atari’s roots.

The balls have different special abilities and the game gets harder as you play through, with some of the screenshots on the official website looking pretty intense. Overall, the game seems like a pretty solid casual title set to release for players across the world.

It should be interesting to see what new things this game brings to the table and how well it acclimatizes with the gaming fraternity across the world. As of now, Kombinera is scheduled to release on Google Play Store for Android and Apple App Store for iOS devices on the 7th of April. Atari has not yet announced whether this game will be a free one or a premium one to play.
