KRAFTON eyes to tap cricket games market; three “tailored for India” mobile titles to be launched by FY2026

More games coming!

Story Highlights
  • KRAFTON plans three India-focused game launches by FY2026.
  • The publisher is exploring cricket team and league licensing deals.
  • KRAFTON is collaborating with Indian studios for fast launches.

KRAFTON India is setting its sights firmly on the country with ambitious plans and games now confirmed for the most popular sport in the country, Cricket. Alongside this, the company has confirmed on developing games designed specifically for Indian players. The details were revealed in the Q3 2025 Revenue Earnings.

The company is expanding into the cricket gaming market with two titles in development

The first is the Real Cricket franchise, which the company is publishing through Nautilus Mobile, a studio it acquired a controlling stake in earlier this year. The second is an unannounced cricket game currently in development, and this could be the rumoured project linked to the ICC’s official mobile cricket title.

While there’s no confirmation yet, KRAFTON, alongside EA SportsDream11, and Nazara Technologies, were reportedly among the frontrunners when I last covered the news to secure the ICC license. The blurred image they had on the report was of a scorecard of an ICC tournament, so that’s also the reason for my guess.

As I write, KRAFTON is also exploring licensing deals with cricket leagues and teams. In addition to this, KRAFTON India also aims to focus on developing games that are easy and social, designed to match what Indian players enjoy most.

As the publisher plans to improve its success rate by quickly testing and refining its projects, the target is to roll out at least three new games by FY2026. To make this happen, KRAFTON is focusing on securing Indian IPs and teaming up with local developers for faster releases.

These moves signal a clear intent: the company wants to cement its place in India by other games, not just through Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI). The cricket game surely is an exciting prospect, but the three other games tailored for India make this more exciting.
