WEMADE has announced that their upcoming AAA-level MMORPG, Legend of YMIR, is set to launch on October 28, on both Android and iOS. This NFT-based title was originally announced back in January 2022 and is now finally open for pre-registration after such a long gap.
Forge your destiny and battle alongside other players from around the globe
Legend of YMIR is a fantasy MMORPG powered by Unreal Engine 5, blending epic Norse mythology with a touch of Web3 innovation. Set in a world where Ragnarok repeats every 9,000 years, you’ll take on the role of a Warrior destined to defy fate and restore order.
If you’re someone like me, who’s fascinated by Norse legends, this title will immediately catch your attention. Here, you can explore a beautifully detailed world inspired by that era, choose from five classes, including Berserker, Warlord, Skald, Volva, and Archer, and take part in massive global battles.
Players can enjoy new stories and battlefields each season
I’m interested to see how this title works out, especially with the seasonal approach, where each update brings new stories, enemies, and battlefields to keep things fun. And it’s also cool that every choice you make shapes your own path, making it more personal.
Now, the Web3 integration might not be for everyone, and I totally get it, as I also don’t enjoy it much. But for those who enjoy play-to-earn systems, you might like it, as it’s integrated with gWEMIX, YMT, and more. Personally, I think the game has potential, especially with its solid visuals, classes, and more.
Legend of YMIR is set to launch on October 28 on both Android and iOS. You can now pre-download the game via Google Play Store or App Store, or even the game’s official website. By pre-registering, you can also obtain various rewards like Rare Companion, Silver, and more.
