The sequel to the puzzle adventure game Lost Twins, Lost Twins 2 has finally been announced by WRP Studios. The trailer released showcases some of the games’ new features as well as art direction.
Gameplay Overview
Much like the original Lost Twins, Lost Twins 2 has been described as something of an “immersive puzzle platformer”. The game follows the journey of two lost twins called Abi and Ben as their journey across a number of puzzles and obstacles. The twins are in search of a portal that is said to provide them a way back home.
The two twins will have to use their wits and work in tandem to open up paths for each other whilst also interacting with other strangers along the way. All along they are bothered by the question, is this elaborately crafted world really leading them back home or to something more sinister?
When will Lost Twins 2 officially release
Lost Twins 2 is a puzzle adventure game that is said to provide a “one of a kind” gaming experience for all age groups. The art style is inspired by the legendary Japanese animation director Miyazaki and it undoubtedly provides a very pleasant viewing experience. The musical score composed for the game is also very complementary to the game’s aesthetic. WRP has said that there is also an incredible amount of detail poured into the graphical aspect of the game, thus promising gamers a highly immersive experience.
The puzzles themselves are said to be varied and non-repetitive, with no two puzzles being the same. In addition to the sliding puzzle mechanics, there are also other interactable portions such as pressure switches, lifts, elevators, and so on, all of these working together to complete a highly interactive experience. The game is made on the Unity engine. No release date has been announced yet although it is expected to launch soon for both Android, iOS, and PCs.
