Mahjong Soul, centered around anime-themed Japanese riichi mahjong, recently launched a time-limited collaboration with the renowned Japanese franchise Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya Movie Licht Nameless Girl from TYPE-MOON’s globally acclaimed Fate series. Within this collaboration, four beloved characters—Illya, Miyu, Kuro, and Gil—will join the game, complete with their distinctive attire.
Additionally, five exclusive decorations, a novel gameplay mode inspired by mahjong, a special storyline rooted in the collaboration, and numerous event-specific rewards will be available for a limited time, enriching the gaming experience.

The much-awaited collaborative event known as the Holy Mahjong War is scheduled to run from November 14th to December 5th, 2023 (UTC-7). During this crossover narrative, the freshly combined personas – Illya, Miyu, Kuro, and Gil – unexpectedly find themselves transported to the Mahjong Soul Shrine within the realm of Mahjong Soul. This unexpected visit opens doors for them to interact with the native characters of Mahjong Soul in thrilling mahjong matches.
Characters from the Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya Movie Licht Nameless Girl have joined the Mahjong Soul universe in an exciting crossover. Illya, a beloved figure from the Fate series, began as a regular 5th-grade student but was ensnared by Magical Ruby, transforming her into a magical girl. Miyu, another magical girl bound by a contract with Magical Sapphire, shares an unbreakable bond with Illya.
Kuro, an Illya-created character, relies on absorbing mana through a kiss from Illya to avoid fading away. Gil, a partial incarnation of Gilgamesh and the Heroic Spirit within the eighth Class Card, wields The Gate of Babylon, housing an infinite array of Noble Phantasms.

Players are currently presented with the chance to immerse themselves in the newly introduced gaming mode known as the Battle of Incantation. This innovative approach shakes up the traditional rules of mahjong gameplay by making both the hand-discarded and drawn discarded tiles visible to all players involved.
The cumulative count of these discards will determine the points earned by the victor. Engaging in either ranked matches or clashes within the Battle of Incantation allows players to collect event tokens. Upon reaching particular token thresholds, they become qualified to receive unique rewards.
The collaborative event unveils The Prism Live Series Outfits, presenting exquisite stage costumes for the four highlighted characters of Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya Movie Licht Nameless Girl. Each character will be adorned in striking attire fit for the stage. Additionally, this update introduces a range of collaborative decorations inspired by elements from the movie, including Winning, Riichi, Riichi Bet, Tile Back, and Tablecloth.
