Mobile Legends announces Global Ban system for its upcoming MPL-ID Season 10

Its finally coming!

According to a recent Instagram post by MPL ID officials, MOONTON is likely to use the Global Ban system for the first time in a recognized MOONTON competition, MPL-ID Season 10. Although there hasn’t been an official statement as of yet, the post suggests that the new ban system will be introduced to the Mobile Legends Indonesian esports scene very soon, and later it was confirmed to GamingonPhone by an MLBB spokesperson.

The Arena of Valor World Cup 2019 marked Tencent and Garena’s debut of the Global Ban system. The UniPin Ladies Series Season 2 competition in MLBB was the first time UniPin Gaming used this technique. As of right now, MOONTON has included this feature in its esports environment.

Implementing Global Ban will change the dynamic of the Mobile Legends esports scene

In MOBA games, a special feature called Global Ban prevents the employment of previously utilized heroes in subsequent matches. As a result, any team that uses a hero in a game will automatically be barred from using them in any of the games that make up the rest of the series.

The Mobile Legends scene will undoubtedly change if this global ban feature is put into effect. The new approach will make it necessary for players to learn a wider variety of heroes because they won’t be able to play with their familiar characters.

In an exclusive statement to GamingonPhone, a MLBB spokesperson said, “Global ban will be implemented first in the MDL Play In; which will be held this Friday onwards from 8-10th July. Global ban means each player and team can only use the one same hero in all matches. This hero can be used again in game 7 (BO7 match). The heroes that will be impacted in this new rule is the pick hero, not the ban hero.”

This statement clearly means that the forthcoming MDL Season 6 Play-in will be the first opportunity for MOONTOON to test out the Global Ban system, and it will then be used in the MPL-ID Season 10.

The Global Ban mechanism will also increase the likelihood that heroes like Alucard and Layla will show up in contested competitions. The coaches will be kept busy as a result of the new system’s implementation developing fresh draught lineups and game plans for their clubs.

Implementing the new method will encourage gameplay that is more dynamic and team-oriented overall. By forbidding players from using the current meta of the game, this approach will also ensure that the heroes rotate.

The events will be more competitive and entertaining for the viewers because it will increase the participants’ adaptability and capacity for change. The audience will also gain new knowledge and experience by seeing and studying fresh approaches and rough draughts.
