With the new Mobile Legends Patch 1.8.44 Update in the Advanced Server, the developers at MOONTON Games are gearing up for the changes in its Main or Original Server. After a series of testing out Cici for a long time in its Advanced Server, the fighter hero is being brought out in the main game. Her Yo-Yo as a primary weapon will add a new essence to the game and a new set of abilities for her.
Along with Cici, there will be a host of balance changes in the game and a new Ranked Season. Players who have reached Mythic rank for 4 consecutive seasons will be able to redeem Faramis’ Mythic Rank skin.
New Hero: Cici
As a fighter hero, Cici’s Yoyo lends her extra movement speed amongst other unique perks whilst fighting on the battlefield. Let us break down her abilities in Mobile Legends.
Abilities
Passive: Performer’s Delight
Cici generates a stack of Delight after dealing damage, increasing her Movement by 2% per stack and stacking up to 10 times. At full stacks, Cici also gains 30% Spell Vamp.
Skill 1: Yo-Yo Blitz
Cici throws Yoyo at the nearest enemy within range and locks onto them for 3,5s, hitting them up to 10 times and dealing damage equal to 50 plus 4 (+0,0)% of the target’s Max HP per hit. Cici can move and use other skills during this attack.
Skill 2: Buoyant Bounce
Cici leaps to a target location. If she lands on an enemy, she deals 200 (+75) Physical Damage to them and leaps again in the target direction.
Ultimate: Curtain Call
Cici throws Yoyo at the target enemy hero and links them with another nearby enemy hero, dealing 100 (+19) Physical Damage, slowing them by 50%, and pulling together for 3s. During this time, Cici can use Yo-Yo Blitz to attack both linked targets at the same time. If only one is within the range of Yo-Yo Blitz, Cici will attack the target twice, but the damage of the second attack will be reduced to 20%.
Mobile Legends Patch 1.8.44 Update: Hero Balance Changes
Dyrroth (↑)
Developers want to preserve the highlights of Dyrroth’s burst with Max Rage. So, we’ve decided to revert the previous adjustments, but still keep his Ultimate can’t be interrupted.
Lancelot (~)
The equipment adjustments in the new version have also boosted Lancelot quite a bit, so we’ve added a slight nerf in the hopes that he doesn’t become overpowered.
Skill 2 (↓)
Base Damage: 165-265 >> 170-245
Yin (↑)
Ultimate (↓)
Cooldown: 48-40s >> 52-44s
Fixed an issue where his Ultimate’s damage wouldn’t decay over time in certain situations.
Masha (~)
Devs have adjusted the Control Immunity under 1 HP bar and slightly reduced her skill damage for overall balance.
Passive (↑)
Remove debuffs when only 1 HP bar is left.
Skill 1 (↓)
- Base Damage: 0-100 >> 0-75
- Physical Attack Bonus: 30% >> 20%
Moskov (~)
Devs have fixed an issue and made balance adjustments to skill cooldowns.
Passive
- Skill 1 and 2 Cooldown Reduction for every Basic Attack: 0.5s >> 0.8s
- Fixed an issue where the attack interval was slightly lower than other heroes.
Other changes
- Devs are reverting Silvanna’s adjustments for now because they need more testing. They’ll be back in future versions.
- Devs are also reverting Masha’s adjustments for now because they didn’t meet our expectations.
- Devs are reverting Nolan’s adjustments for now because they need more testing.
Mobile Legends Patch 1.8.44 Update: Battlefield and System Adjustments
Target Selection Logic Adjustments
Devs have optimized the target selection logic in different situations, including:
- Auto Attack now chooses targets more reasonably. Once a target is slain, the logic of searching for the next target will also be smarter.
Training Camp
Players can switch heroes and change the desired Emblems, Battle Spells, and Setups directly in the Training Camp without leaving the battle! This feature is only available when the update resource is downloaded.
Other changes
- Devs have optimized the logic of Mathilda’s movement when attacked by Yin’s Ultimate.
- Developers are reverting adjustments of Dominance Ice and Black Ice Shield for now because they need more testing.
Notification changes
- Players can turn on Notification in Settings > Privacy to receive notifications from the app when a close friend is online.
- Notifications will only be sent when both you and your close friend have turned on Notification.
Other changes
- The features in the Resource Management system have now been optimized. One can use the new Manage Resource interface to better manage your game resources.
- A “Moniyan” display stage to the hero interface has been added. Cici and other Moniyan heroes will have a new display background.

KOF Bingo Draw Event limited-time return
From the 2nd of January, 2024 to the 27th of January, 2024, the KOF Bingo series skins will return for a limited time. This includes the likes of Chou “Iori Yagami”, Gusion “K”‘, Guinevere “Athena Asamiya”, Karina “Leona”, Aurora “Kula Diamond”, and Dyrroth “Orochi Chris”! The KOF Bingo Premium Supply event will be available from 6th Jan to 9th of Jan, 2024, and 13th Jan to 16th of Jan. Players must get their Premium Supplies here!
Dawning Stars Draw Event limited-time return
From the 15th of January, 2024 to the 13th of February, 2024, the Dawning Stars series skins will return for a limited time, which includes the likes of Bruno “Firebolt”, Lancelot “Swordmaster”, Chou “Thunderfist”, Vale “Blizzard Storm”, and Esmeralda “The Foreseer”.
The Dawning Stars Premium Supply event will be available from 20th Jan to 23rd of Jan, 2024 and 27th Jan to 30th of Jan. Players must get their Premium Supplies here!
Magic Wheel and Lucky Box
- Freya “Galactic Vanquisher” and revamped Gord “Conqueror” will be available in the Magic Wheel Event Shop on the 20th of December, 2023.
