Mobile Legends: Bang Bang has started the 2025 esports year with several events including its professional leagues in different countries. As part of the announced roadmap, Season 3 of the professional league for LATAM aka MPL LATAM is going to take place soon. Organized by MOONTON, the event will be both online and offline and will feature 8 teams.
MPL LATAM Season 3 will gather all the known and popular esports teams from the MLBB MOBA scene. All fighting for the prestigious crown of the champion. The event will also share a decent amount of prize pool for the participants.
MPL LATAM Season 3: Schedule and Format
The event will kick off on the 15th of March 2025 with the participants. It will have three stages during the run, the initial one is named the Regular Season. It will follow a Swiss system to determine the teams for the next phase. The Relegation is the second stage of the event. Four teams that lost 3 games each will play in this stage and will have single elimination brackets.
All the matches will be BO5 and the winners of each match will advance to the next stage. The final stage of the event will be the Playoffs. It will begin on the 26th of April. Following a hybrid elimination system, there will be BO5 matches except for the Grand Finals which is a BO7.

In the playoffs, the 3rd and 4th teams and the 2 relegation teams will compete in round 1. On the other hand, the 1st and 2nd seeded teams will receive a round bye. Now the schedule of the event is as follows:

Prize Pool
MPL LATAM Season 3 will have a decent amount as the prize pool to share among the teams. The participants will share the amount among them, based on their respective positions after the end of the event. Now, the breakdown of the prize pool is as follows:

Apart from the monetary prize, the champion will receive a direct slot in the upcoming MSC 2025 while the runner-up will play in the Wildcard stage.

There will be 8 teams in the event, all will fight for the trophy and the slots given away by this event. 7 teams are directly invited while the 8th one will come from the qualifier. The list of the teams is as follows:
