Muse Dash announces collaboration with Touhou Project for its latest content update

Action rhythm game Muse Dash has announced its collaboration with the sensational Japanese bullet hell franchise, Touhou Project, for its latest content update. This update brings familiar elements of Gensokyo into Muse Dash: a special Touhou music pack, a new playable character, as well as three special graphics.

Developed by PeroPeroGames and published by XD Inc., Muse Dash has consistently sought to invigorate its technicolored mayhem by collaborating with fellow rhythm games, most recently Groove Coaster, Cytus II, and Rhythm Doctor.

Epic items to be available as a part of this collaboration

As a part of this collaboration, the latest musical track Touhou Mugakudan will be available including seven signature tracks from the series. This will be including the classic Bad Apple!! by ZUN himself. Reimu Hakurei, the fan-favorite Shrine Maiden, will be making her way into Muse Dash as a playable character with hidden talents which might even transcend the rhythm game genre. The adorable new welcome screen animation and two new loading screen illustrations have also been heavily inspired by Touhou aesthetics.

Additionally, owners of Just As Planned, the lifetime DLC pass, will receive an exclusive music pack titled Just As Planned PLUS. This special music pack will feature four new tracks (one of which is also from Touhou), with even more tracks and new visuals coming in future updates.

Moreover, for a limited time from September 30th, 2021 through October 11th, 2021, new players will be able to pick up Muse Dash for 80% off on Steam, 70% off on iOS App Store and Google Play. Moreover, the Just As Planned DLC pass – which unlocks Touhou Mugakudan and all existing and upcoming DLCs – will also be available at a 30% discount.
