NetEase Games, the online games division of NetEase, Inc., and Guanghe Qiyuan are pleased to announce that as part of the game’s new Couple System Update, it is now possible to marry other players in NeverAfter. This will allow players to embark on epic fairy tale adventures as couples, becoming the heroes of their own stories.
Players will be able to marry each other after the release of Couple System Update
Two player characters will be able to marry once the Couple System Update for NeverAfter is released. To qualify, both players must be level 40 or higher and have at least 520 Friendships with each other. For the wedding to begin, one player must buy a True Love Silver Ring from the Shop, which is consumed during the proposal.
To speak to Cupid and make the proposal, the person who wishes to propose must form a team with their betrothed and act as the team leader. If the other player accepts, the proposal is successful and the wedding is set.
If the happy NeverAfter couple is ready to go, the players can book a wedding slot with Cupid. The couple will be teleported to the Rose Garden for the ceremony when the time comes. The couple does not have to be alone together because players can invite friends and clan members to attend the wedding as guests.
The entire ceremony should take between 5 and 15 minutes, excluding the waiting time. The Luxury Wedding and Extravagant Wedding ceremonies are available to players. The Luxury Wedding involving a float parade for the newlyweds is also available.
The Update also brings new limited-time cosmetic items
The Couple System Update also introduces new cosmetic items to NeverAfter, some of which will be available for a limited time only. Costume-White Orchid and Costume-Paeans Rose can be obtained by combining Shards or by purchasing them in limited-time packs.
This allows couples to truly look the part. The Lover Shop also sells the Innocent Love and Awakening of Love Weapon Ornaments, as well as the Back-Seeking Wings series, the Mount-Tour of Day Tide, and the Mount-Tour of Night Tide.
