Perfect World Games has announced Neverness to Everness, a brand new urban-themed open-world RPG with supernatural elements. Developed by Tower of Fantasy fame Hotta Studio, Neverness to Everness will be arriving on multiple platforms, including Mobile, PC, and Consoles.

From what the developers have shared, the game is seemingly set in Hethereau, where we’ll need to learn how to deal with the Anomalies since this is a supernatural vibe. In Neverness to Everness, we will get to explore the city of NTE, dive into city exploration, enjoy a vibrant urban life, and embark on adventures filled with mystery and wonder.
I’ve watched the work-in-progress PV trailer shared by the makers, and my god was the view breathtaking. From what I have seen, this bears a close resemblance to HoYoverse’s recent launch Zenless Zone Zero, which is also placed in an urban setting.
The action was pretty dynamic, the visual effects were well done and I noticed a feature allowing for character switching on the side, offering flexibility in choosing your preferred character. Note that this is just the test version, and once the global version arrives it is going to be a lot more fun.
It might not have been mobile gameplay, but expect a similar performance on a small screen too. Of course, this is expected as this visual experience is powered by the Unreal Engine 5, with NVIDIA DLSS rendering and RTX ON technology.
Free roam is going to be fun, as you can pick different vehicles and go on a spin, so you can say this as “GTA goes anime”. What’s more, you’ll have the freedom to customize these cars to your liking, making it a significant draw for players who love this. I liked how the game looks at night thanks to the dynamic weather that is present in the game, so the detailing is exceptional.

To conclude this in a few words, I’m hyped for this game, and hoping this sees a release soon. Surely, Neverness to Everness will be a game changer in the open-world genre, especially on mobile.
