Nexon announces Developer Wings 2022, its new initiative to support the game developers

A project worth 1.5 Billion Won is now underway!

Nexon, one of the bigger names in the digital sphere, specifically game development, has now launched a new program Developer Wings 2022 for developers from Korea and also from other nations globally with prizes up to 100 Million Won for the grabs. 

As reported by DailyMetaDose, Jeongheon Lee, the CEO of Nexon announced a partnership program for PROJECT MOD, their content and service production platform. Titled WING 2022, the program aims to provide developers with the funds to propel their ideas and game concepts into a successful reality.

An orientation for the project was held today with Nexon introducing interested developers to the basics of the whole project with a subsidy of 10 Million Won for those who can release their project in stages till November 14th for PROJECT MOD. In case you weren’t aware, PROJECT MOD is Nexon’s content platform allowing creators and players to connect in unique and fun ways.

Developers can grab big rewards in Nexon Developer Wings 2022

Select works from the content will be picked out for Nexon afterward for recognition at the end of this year, where the developers would be eligible for prizes like the Grand Prize worth 100 Million Won for 1 studio, the Best Prize worth 50 Million Won for 2, and then an Excellence Award worth 10 Million Won for 4, adding up to 250 Million Won in total, which is quite a considerable amount.

Initiatives like this are quite helpful for up-and-coming developers and studios like Nexon really have the resources that go into this push and some really promising games could come out of this whole project.
