Nexon’s TalesWeaver: Second Run to shut down its services on September 19, 2023

Not even a year since its release!

Nexon has announced that their RPG TalesWeaver: Second Run will end its service and shut down on September 19, 2023. With the shut down, it will have been active for approximately 10 months since its launch.

TalesWeaver: Second Run opened to mixed reviews and failed

Based on the Korean novel Children of the Rune, TalesWeaver: Second Run was first launched on November 21, 2022. The game offers an expansive open world, a captivating story, and thrilling battles against colossal monsters. However, it wasn’t received positively since its launch, and the makers have decided to close it for good.

The reason for the shut down is not revealed by the developer. As a part of the final update, the team has also announced that it will be releasing the reprint 5 types of limited core summons that have been held so far, which will cost 300 tradition stonesĀ for each pull.

On July 6, 2023, the sale of all items available in the shop for purchase has been ended, so they are no longer accessible. For a refund of paid currency, Traditional Stone items can be utilized until the service concludes. They have mentioned that a separate notice will be provided to inform users about the status of their paid Traditional Stones.

If you have any, it is advised to link your account before the service ends to ensure the proper process of refund. It should be noted that all these services will remain available until September 19, 2023, at 10:00 local time, which is the date of shut down.
