Ellada Games has finally released its Viking simulation title Niffelheim on Android and iOS mobile platforms. The game was originally launched for the Steam, Xbox, PC, and Nintendo Switch. Ellada Games is an independent game development studio started by a group of friends in 2013. In 2016, the studio launched Niffelheim on early access for PC while the official release was made in 2018 on Steam and GOG and on PS4 and Xbox One in 2019.
Find your way to Valhalla in this survival title
Niffelheim is a 2D survival game set in the mystical world of Niffelheim and Valhalla of Norse mythology. According to Norse mythology, the worthy souls will be moved to Valhalla to enjoy the great feast with the mighty Odin. The soul of the protagonist is however trapped in Niffelheim instead of Allfather’s abode and now he has to find his way to Valhalla.
The players have to prove themselves to the Gods by defending themselves and unraveling the mysteries of the lands. On their way to Asgard’s Valhalla, the players will fight the fallen enemies using bones, teeth, and fur as weapons.
Niffelheim: Game features
Building a fortress will help the players to get cover from the enemy and destroy the attackers. There will be Death Priests who will give ultimatums. The portals to Asgard are guarded by the mighty giants, undead, and deadly spiders. The players can brew various types of mushrooms to become stronger and cook dishes for friends. Also, some poisons can be brewed to kill the most powerful enemy. At reaching the heart of the world the players will find artifacts that will help them to win the final battle.
Niffelheim provides the players with outstanding visuals, stunning graphics, and a cold Scandinavian setting. A proper adventure survival game with a mysterious backstory with easy-to-play controls and fun gameplay.
The game was already launched in App Store this May for iOS users. And finally, the game has arrived on Google Play Store for Android users. However, the game is not a free-to-play game and costs $7.99 or 440 in Indian rupees. Players can download the game from App Store and Google Play Store.
