OverField enters open beta on Android, as INUTAN Limited revives the cozy action RPG

INUTAN Limited has launched an open beta test for their 3D cozy action RPG, OverField, now live until October 27 on Android. This title was previously published by NetEase Games in China and Japan, but was terminated later in February, with the operational rights transferred to the dev team Ekoneko Studio.

Dive into an adorable world where reality and illusion collide

OverField is a cozy ARPG that draws you into a 3D fantasy world where reality and illusion constantly intertwine. Here, you play as a rookie Exploration Captain joining Rota Tech, an organization exploring the strange Open Space where science collides with the supernatural.

The game lets you wander through a diorama-style maps that look straight out of an animated film, moving between the real world and the whimsical Pocket Dimension. Personally, I’m most interested in collecting rare items, solving little puzzles, and especially diving into adorable rhythm-based battles.

Players can recruit quirky companions, relax, and socialize

As you progress, you’ll face eerie creatures and uncover the secrets behind the world’s ever-changing landscapes. Oh, and you can also recruit quirky members, like a tsundere tech geek or a scatterbrained scout, and I love how you can form bonds with them.

One of the most appealing parts for me is its deep customization, which lets you dye over 20 parts of your outfit for a unique look. Plus, you can also design your own base, from cozy cafes to sci-fi HQs, using 20+ furniture themes. I think it’s nice that you can chill on a hammock or join in fun social moments like BBQ parties or cosplay contests.

OverField is now available as an open beta on Android until October 27. You can directly download the game via the Google Play Store, without the need for any pre-registration.
