On 28th November 2022, as a part of a new collaboration, more than 100 items of clothing, footwear, and accessories from the David Koma Resort 2023 collection will be available within the mobile fashion game Pocket Styler, developed and published by Nordcurrent. Simultaneously the exact items will be available to purchase online on David Koma official website.
This is only the second and biggest collaboration for the Pocket Styler game
Players can build and dress their avatars with Pocket Styler for a variety of daily themed events, and other players can vote on their clothing choices as a part of this collaboration with David Koma. With 10.5 million looks uploaded weekly and more than 10 million votes cast for clothes each day, the game currently offers 310+ trillion conceivable outfit combinations.
With mobile game market valued at $120 Billion in 2021 with 7.7% year on year growth, it is an unmissable space for a fashion brand like mine to explore and reach new audiences. It has been fantastic to collaborate with Nordcurrent – I have loved the process of transforming my designs into digital fashion items and am very excited to see how Pocket Styler gamers will interact and style our creations. It is a new experience, launching the collection as clothing and virtually within the app, allowing more people than ever to own one of my designs
With all styles created in-house, this is just the second and largest partnership for the Pocket Styler game, which debuted in May 2021. Since then, 15.8 million people have downloaded the game, and there are currently 1.7 million monthly active users. A luxury womenswear brand like David Koma’s target market is nicely represented by the fact that more than 85% of Pocket Styler players are women and that 70% of them are over the age of 25.
