Pokémon Go: Niantic accidentally leaked two Legendary forms ahead of the Sinnoh Tour

Nothing goes past the eyes of the fans!

Pokémon Go releases a bunch of new content every month and the players get to choose from a bunch of events to participate in every other month. The raid battle schedule for December is already out and apart from that Niantic has also accidentally leaked their two new Gen 4 Legendary forms which will be a of Pokémon Go for the Sinnoh Tour event in the future which is going to take place in 2024. Here’s everything we know about it.

The revealed forms appear to be Dialga and Palkia Original Formes

The Sinnoh Tour is going to feature Generation 4’s Sinnoh region which is snowy and full of mountains. The Pokémon that you can expect to catch a glimpse of during this event are many kinds of Gen 4s such as Chimchar, Turtwig and now because of the leak even Legendary Pokémon such as Dialga and Palkia.

Niantic announced the commencement of the event through an official blog post on November 29, 2023, and through that, they accidentally posted an image that was not supposed to be there. They took it down very quickly too, but not before some keen-eyed Pokémon Go fans were able to capture the blunder successfully. The image was later uploaded on the TheSliphRoad subreddit for everyone to see.

The Legendary Formes are a part of Pokémon Legends: Arceus

According to the storyline of the game, the Legendary Pokémon’s Original Formes are supposed to be their true forms. These forms resemble their creator Arceus more than their original Gen 4 appearances. The Pokémon Legends: Arceus takes place in the past which means these forms have existed even before the standard Gen 4 forms which everyone is familiar with.

Since the Legendary forms have been leaked by Niantic by accident, it is unknown when these forms will be released in Pokémon Go but as the Sinnoh Tour event is officially going to start on February 24, 2024, we assume that these forms will be released somewhere around this time frame as they are a part of this event itself.
