Introducing Vivillon in Pokémon GO
The Scale Pokémon, Vivillon (Vi-vi-yon), is renowned for its various distinctive patterns. By pinning Postcards obtained from Trainers, PokéStops, or Gyms in various places, Trainers can gather patterned Vivillon from all around the world.
The Vivillon Collector medal can be unlocked by pinning Postcards from eligible regions, and doing so also advances any sub-medals related to the region where the Postcard was collected. Scatterbug encounters result from moving up in sub-medals. Scatterbug from various areas mutates into Vivillon with various patterns.
The timing of the discovery of Vivillon couldn’t have been better. Trainers may rekindle their relationships with friends and family throughout the holiday season by sending them meaningful Gifts via Pokémon GO.
After that, they can check out the various Vivillon patterns that Scatterbug can evolve into. When trainers gather and pin Postcards received from various regions, they may come across Scatterbug. To earn the Vivillon Collector medal, trainers must begin collecting Postcards.
- To transform Scatterbug into Spewpa, trainers need 25 Scatterbug Candy.
- 100 Scatterbug Candy will allow Spewpa to mutate into Vivillon.
Vivillon patterns and regions in Pokémon GO
Eventually, scatter bugs from various areas will transform into Vivillon with various patterns. There are currently 18 Vivillon patterns known in Pokémon GO, and these patterns are influenced by the climate of their habitat. How to get Vivillon patterns in Pokémon GO
Pokémon GO is introducing a new medal, the Vivillon Collector Medal, to assist Trainers to keep track of their collection of Vivillon patterns. Trainers can acquire this new medal and view a brief guide on how to face Scatterbug when they pin a Postcard.
Trainers will also be able to pin Postcards to acquire sub-medals within the Vivillon Collector medal. They are permitted to pin both their own and friends’ Postcards. These sub-medals correspond to various parts of the Vivillon pattern. To meet Scatterbug from different countries, collect various sub-medals. To advance toward the medal, players may pin up to three of their Postcards each day.
Gathering three Postcards from an area where the Vivillon patterns are prevalent is required for the first sub-medal. Trainers can continue working for a sub-medal after completing it to gain more opportunities to encounter Scatterbug. For each tier, more Postcards are needed to raise the sub-medal rank.
