Niantic and The Pokémon Company (TPC) have announced the launch of Pokémon GO in Hindi, which is a significant development that is in line with the growing popularity of gaming and esports in India. On September 14, which is Hindi Divas in India, this statement was made. A significant step has been taken to make Pokémon GO more playable and entertaining for Indian gamers by localizing the game into Hindi, making it the sixth language in Asia and the 15th overall.
Since its release in 1996, Pokémon has won the hearts of millions of people all around the world. Its roster of over 1,000 animals spans generations and cultural boundaries. About 800 Pokémon have had their names changed to Hindi by TPC in honor of its Indian fan base, making them more approachable and appealing to Indian gamers.

Due to the growth of streaming and esports, India, which was not historically a top priority for game creators, has recently risen to prominence in the international esports market. According to Niantic’s modifications, the game is now available in four languages, including Hindi, and more than a million new points of interest have been added throughout India.
