Niantic has announced the Pokemon Go Lunar New Year 2022 event with new shiny Pokemons and a variety of other changes. This new Pokemon GO event will let you catch a shiny Litleo and a Hisuian Voltorb if you add them to your collection.
Pokemons available in the Wild Encounters
The following Pokémon will be appearing more frequently in the wild. Also, for the first time in Pokémon Go, players will be able to encounter a Shiny Litleo, if they are lucky enough in the game.

- Voltorb
- Hisuian Voltorb
- Magikarp
- Torchic
- Litleo
However, if you’re lucky, you might encounter the following.

One-Star Raids

Three-Star Raids

Five-Star and Mega Raids
Starting from Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. to Monday, February 7, 2022, at 8:00 p.m. local time, Regirock will be available in the Five-Star Raids of this event. Also, Mega Houndoom Pokemon will be available in the Mega Raids during the same time period of this event.

Active from Monday, January 31, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. PST to Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. PST (–8 GMT), players will be getting an Increased chance for Lucky Pokémon in trades, Increased chance to become Lucky Friends, Double Stardust from opening Gifts, and 1 extra special trade per day in the form of event bonuses available in the Pokemon Go Lunar New Year 2022 event.
