If you didn’t know, Pokémon GO had a successful partnership with Mumbai Indians in 2024, where Pikachu had a wonderful appearance at the Wankhede Stadium. Now, they have expanded the collaboration to include the Gujarat Titans for IPL 2025, along with Mumbai Indians.
I am excited to see the beloved characters of Pokémon GO become part of the vibrant IPL celebration once again. We can expect something similar to last time, with Pikachu’s special appearance, or something even better.
Moreover, to celebrate this unique partnership, Pokémon GO is introducing team-themed stickers featuring the iconic logos and colors of Mumbai Indians (MI) and Gujarat Titans (GT). You can now collect these exclusive team-themed stickers throughout the IPL 2025 Season. I hope I get MI’s sticker.
How to obtain Mumbai Indians and Gujarat Titans stickers in Pokémon GO
From today, and continuing throughout the IPL season until May 25, 2025, you can obtain these exclusive stickers through various methods.
- You can obtain these stickers by spinning the Pokéstops and Gyms during the event period in Mumbai and Ahmedabad.
- The drop rates will likely be higher near the main stadiums, Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, and Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
- Additionally, on match days when the home team plays, you can visit the Pokémon booths at both stadiums to get goodies and more.
Besides stickers and collectibles, you will also have a chance to win match tickets along with exclusive team merchandise for both teams. We can also expect more in-game events or special events during home team matches.
I am enjoying this development, with Pokémon GO showing interest in IPL by also partnering with Gujarat Titans this time. They announced the collaboration just four days ago with the IPL beginning today. With Pokémon GO’s growing interest in the Indian market, we can also hope for more IPL teams partnering.
