One of the most popular MOBA games available on mobile, Pokémon UNITE will finally be released in China and has now opened pre-registration for the Chinese Server.
Pokémon Unite Chinese Server was approved in China last year
Officially licensed by Pokémon and developed by Tencent’s TiMi Studios, the Pokémon Unite Chinese Server will be the domestic version for China of the global version. Following regulations, in December 2022, China approved Pokémon UNITE along with 83 other games, where it was also confirmed that the Chinese domestic server was already in progress.

Speaking of gameplay, in Pokémon Unite, you’ll embark on a fresh Pokémon adventure. As you capture wild Pokémon using Unite Balls, you’ll accumulate valuable Aeos energy to elevate your Pokémon’s levels. When certain Pokémon reach a specific level, they’ll undergo evolution, boosting their strength considerably and unveiling new abilities. The core gameplay will most likely remain the same with the global version.
The Pokémon Unite Chinese Server is currently open for pre-registration, and interested players from China can complete this process on the official website. Pre-registration is exclusively available through QQ or WeChat accounts, requiring users to log in using one of these platforms to register. The mobile platforms will most likely include both Android and iOS, as currently there is no mention.
In advance, the developers have announced that the Pokemon Unite Chinese Server will also begin testing this year, in November 2023 as indicated by the blog. This testing phase will introduce new Pokémon and map modes for trainers to explore. So, if you are from China, you can participate when it is announced. The release date hasn’t been announced as of now.
