Pokemon Unite has always looked after the convenience of the players, which includes lots of events, Pokémon, and holowears have been their drill. They have now finally turned their attention toward the problems, which the gamers face in Ranked Matches. The problem is persistent in other game modes too, but the frustration has reached its peak in Ranked Battles. The game developers are now working on the rules of Performance points, previously also giving attention to the matchmaking rules in Pokémon Unite. This time, they have decided to also look at the victims.
Modification of the Performance Points Scheme
Previously, only the players who idled during the ongoing battle, received a deduction in Fairplay Score. However, now, not only the idlers would be punished, but also their teammates, who weren’t idling in the battle would receive compensation. Hence, whenever a teammate (or more) idles in battle, they’d get an additional +75 performance points (fluctuates as per current Rank Level), when you lose.

Previously though, a loss meant a loss and a huge deduction of performance points if players had at least more than 100 points. It didn’t even matter whether the teammates left the game intentionally or due to some reasons, but now not so.
The latest look at Pokémon Unite Performance Points
Pokémon Unite has the following Performance Points allocation for Ranked Matches:-
- Scoring 50-99 Points: +5 Performance Points
- Scoring 100-199 Points: +10 Performance Points
- Scoring 200≤ Points: +15 Performance Points
- Win Streak Bonus: +10-50 Performance Points
- Sportsmanship: +10 Performance Points
- Participation Bonus: +10 Performance Points, and now with the latest modification,
- Teammate Idling Bonus: +75 Performance Points
Based upon the players’ Rank, they can earn a certain amount of Performance points, to collect one Diamond Point, which in turn, helps in the promotion among the Classes and Ranks. The game previously changed its Diamond Points rule, so that players with a certain amount of Performance Points (a per Rank), do not get their Diamond Points deducted after a loss.
With this update of rules, there is no doubt that some relief would come to the Ranked match competitors. Also, remember that players would get the +75 points as a bonus, irrespective of win or loss. In such an instance, in the case, where one wins, they can imagine the huge boost they’d get in the Performance Points bar, due to this modification!
