CyberNest Entertainment has announced their latest next-gen parallel-universe MMORPG, Prism 2033, with pre-registrations now open for Android, iOS, and PC. Developed using Unreal Engine 5 by the China-based devs, the official release date of this game is yet to be revealed.
Get ready to explore parallel worlds and tackle missions with your friends
Prism 2033 is a futuristic MMORPG set in Flux City, a central hub that links parallel worlds. You play as a newly recruited Investigator of the civilian organization Harbor Agency, taking on missions while uncovering hidden stories. As you progress, you slowly carve out your own path across these worlds.
Personally, the setting intrigues me because every world comes with its own environment, conflicts, and possibilities. And the best part? You can team up with friends and explore these dangerous worlds together while facing new challenges and even commanding starships in massive interstellar fleet battles.
You can interact with dynamic NPCs, collect outfits and vehicles, and even raise babies
That said, many might not like the use of AI, though the game mainly uses it to support NPC dialogue and voice interactions, allowing them to react differently to unexpected situations. And, thanks to these behavioral systems, NPCs can grow and change overtime, progressing from youth to old age baed on daily experiences.
Overall, I think the game looks promising despite the AI usage. The content is great, from difficult missions to collecting outfits, vehicles, and other items, in addition to player-driven world-building features, and more. And it’s cool how deeply we can bond with NPCs, even raising children who inherit traits from parents and grow under our care in some cases.
Prism 2033 is now open for pre-registrations on Android, iOS, and PC. So, you can now go ahead and pre-register for the game via the official website. That said, the game is not yet listed on the app stores besides Steam. Stay tuned for more updates!
