Project Hope 1+1 expressed their gratitude via the official WeChat account
Project Hope was quick to respond to the gesture made by the Genshin Impact community via their official WeChat account. They did mention how unbelievable this amount seems to them. Statistically, over 90,000 people donated more than 2.4 million yuan which translates to roughly 350,000 USD for the cause in just 5 days.
The community of Genshin Impact is known to be very active and the fact that they managed to collect over 2.4 million yuan in just 5 days is proof of that statement. The community, previously known for its creativity in terms of additional content and artwork is now being famous for its social work and commitment to uplifting the unprivileged in society. The organization expressed its appreciation and stated, “We are feeling dizzy by the number 648. Now, 648 even appears in our dreams.”
The organization has planned to use the donations, in its pro-youth public welfare campaign and have an impact on as many lives as possible. The aim of the Hope Project 1+1 is to provide financial assistance to those unprivileged primary and junior high school students from families which are not very privileged. 1000 yuan is required for funding one academic year of 1 primary school student and 1500 yuan are needed to fund the High school students.
