Things aren’t working in the favor of PUBG Mobile management as after being forced to shift the tournament to online mode things have become more worse for them. Even after shifting to online mode, some technical issues have cropped up and have led to the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) finals being postponed until further notice.

Earlier today, announcements were made of the decision of PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) Finals getting canceled due to ongoing technical issues. The event was initially planned to be a LAN Event in Dubai’s Coca Cola Stadium in UAE. Teams had already reached their destination for the LAN Event. But at the last moment, 3 unnamed players were tested positive for the COVID – 19. Keeping this in mind, the tournament was then shifted into an online mode. Players were instructed to play remotely from their hotel rooms. The tournament proceeded with the play on Day 1 but it was on the second day that the technical problems started floating.
The officials said that as players were playing remotely, it made the technical and network solutions more challenging. With these unexpected sequences of events creating hurdles in proceeding with the tournament, the PUBG Mobile team has been forced to delay the tournament and apologized to the fans for it. The team has also assured the fans that they are working on the issues and will get them fixed as soon as possible.

Earlier, during the first day of the tournament, six matches were held. Turkish team Klas Digital Athletics leads the points table with 80 points. The league stage champions 4 Angry Men aren’t much behind as they hold the second position with 75 points. And the newly formed Ukrainian team, Natus Vincere stands third with 68 points.
