PUBG Mobile has now officially set a Guinness World Record for the Most Pairs Performing a Choreographed Handshake across multiple venues during its global FRIEND FEST event. The event is live until February 16, 2026, and this record attempt took place on January 25.
FRIEND FEST hybrid event brings player together beating a new Guinness World Record
For those unaware, the FRIEND FEST hybrid event is like a celebration of friendship and shared experience by blending in-game activities with offline meetups. Now, the record attempt brought together 392 players across 4 iconic locations: Lapangan Banteng Park in Indonesia; Fişekhane in Türkiye; the Guzeria Youth Center in Egypt; and Fatima Jinnah Park (F-9 Park) in Pakistan.
While the world record itself is impressive, the in-game Bonding Tree checkpoints in Erangel and Livik are still active until February 16. I like how it turns pink, trigger special stage performances and let you gift floral items to your significant other. You can also unlock single-match items and in-game style.

Now on the offline side, if you’re from Western Europe, Africa, and Southeast Asia, you can visit flower shops and pick up free flowers. Moreover, even if you missed the workshops, photo zones, or the river cruise in Paris, don’t worry as FRIEND FEST continues in Indonesia with Experience Zones and WOW creative matches.
That said, I suggest you to take part in the Pan-for-Pan exchange, which runs until January 31. You can design your own pans for a chance to win the GOLDEN PAN prize, or just jump into Glass Room Tournament for 1v1 battles in the transparent arena.
