Players that participated in the previous Closed Beta, on the other hand, will already have a slot reserved and will directly participate in the second phase of tests.
The previous closed beta participants will receive invites for iOS
The wait is finally over for iOS players, as the addition of iOS has been confirmed for Rainbow Six Mobile. During their next Closed Beta, a limited number of iOS players from Canada, the USA, and Japan will be invited via the Apple Testflight. Register for the game and then participate. You can download the Testflight application here.
Starting June 6, the update will roll out to the first closed beta players, for which they need to delete the game and reinstall. Two days later, the invites will start to roll out, and the next week, June 12, iOS Testflight is scheduled as well.
The roadmap of plans also implies that more features would be added with the soft launch, which is expected to happen this year, though no specific dates have been specified.
The beta will arrive with plenty of improvements and customization
Along with the tests, new additions are being featured as well listed below.
- Operator’s progression via Mastery Tracks
- Early customization system: Loadouts and Skins
- New Beta Battlepass with no experience cap
- Introduction of Team Deathmatch game mode
Three maps in total will be accessible now, alongside 18 operators. The makers have confirmed that operators and the maps that were accessible during the previous Beta will remain in this version too. One of the biggest improvements is the weapon system, which has become more advanced with up to 6 slots available now.
An improvement in the damage system is also the talking point, in which the game will feature faster time to kill, increased damage, and a reworked headshot system as well. Fine-tuning has been implemented for the camera and the HUD, with the general gameplay improved. The Battle Pass will have no XP maximum cap and now includes cosmetics for the players.
Interested players can sign up for pre-registration on Google Play Store for Android devices. The iOS players can pre-register on the game’s official website. Overall, things look promising for the game, and the developers are eager to see how things pan out.
