Another Re:Zero RPG, Re:Zero – Witch’s Re:surrection, has been announced for mobile release on Android and iOS. This announcement was made at Anime Japan 2023, which took place on March 25th to commemorate the series’ tenth anniversary.

The third season of the Re:Zero anime was announced at the same event. The plot revolves around Subaru Natsuki who is suddenly summoned to a fantasy-like world. He is killed shortly while attempting to assist a half-elf he befriends, Emilia, a candidate to become the next ruler of the Kingdom of Lugunica, only to be revived some hours later. Subaru realizes that he has the power to turn back time after dying.
Coming to the game, Re:Zero – Witch’s Re:surrection will allow players to freely explore the Kingdom of Lugunica while collecting resources, exploring, and fighting alongside the series’ signature characters. Tappei Nagatsuki, the original author of the light novel Re:Zero – Starting Life in Another World, is supervising the game’s development.
The trailer for the 10-year anniversary was also revealed during the event, which gave insights into the beautiful art style and the vibrant atmosphere of the upcoming title. The characters look pleasing and the presentation of the trailer promises us a great experience.
Next, we must wait and see how things go with respect to the release date of the game. The game will most likely be released in Japan before a worldwide release, so keep an eye on the developments.
