F5 Games has announced the official launch of their retro adventure RPG, Runes of Legend, now available on Android. This beloved browser-based title, first released in November 2024 on PC, has finally made its way to mobile, though details about an iOS launch are yet to be revealed.

Runes of Legend takes you to a fantasy universe filled with mystery and magic. In this game, you play as a brave adventurer, exploring lands once at peace that are now threatened by dark forces. Personally, I love how the game blends the classic pixel art with modern design, giving it a nostalgic yet cool look.
Originally a web-based PC title, this title quickly captured everyone’s attention with its retro charm. And I have to say, seeing this RPG finally on mobile is a pretty happy moment. Now, you can use the mystical power of Blood Mystics, command the tides as a Seafolk Warrior, or mutate into a Beastmaster.
Players can unleash combos and powerful skills to take on powerful bosses
This makes me want to experiment with the different classes, since each character has unique abilities and cool designs, which also keep the gameplay fresh. Coming to combat, you can enjoy fast-paced battles with combos, dodges, and powerful skills, also letting you take on legendary bosses for loot.
The game also integrates idle RPG mechanics, letting your characters progress even when you’re away. All in all, this mobile version looks promising with 16-bit pixel art, heroes, loot, diverse dungeons, gear, weapons, and more. And I can already tell that I’ll be hooked on upgrading heroes and facing the bosses.
