- You can sail, cook, fish, relax at taverns, enjoy music, and play the tabletop mini game Wheels.
- It features soundtrack with original compositions by Yasunori Mitsuda, known for Chrono Trigger, alongside the studio's Eric W. Brown.
Playdigious has launched the award-winning retro-inspired turn-based adventure RPG, Sea of Stars, now available on both Android and iOS. Developed by Sabotage Studio, details about this port were first revealed back on January 16, 2026.
Dive into a story-rich adventure and engage in turn-based battles
So, Sea of Stars lets you experience the story of two Children of the Solstice, Valere and Zale, as they step into their destined roles of Solstice Warriors. Here, they are the only ones capable of standing against the creations of the evil alchemist, The Fleshmancer.
Here, you can engage in turn-based battles with mechanics like timed hits, combo attacks, boosting, and a strategic lock system that keeps it fun. I especially liked how there are no random encounters or separate battle screens. Plus, there is also no grinding, so you can focus on enjoying the story and its unexpected twists and events.
You can experience polished systems and unwind with side activities
But traversal is where the game really stands out for me, as you can swim, climb, vault, jump, and interact with the world seamlessly. The navigation system here is based on platformer expertise, so you won’t get the feel of traditional grid-based movements.
Now, if you ask me, this one is definitely worth trying. The content is really great, offering stunning visuals and dynamic lighting, polished systems, rich lore, exclusive mobile UI, controller support, and more. I can finally stop by the tavern to try it’s famous tabletop game, Wheels.
Sea of Stars is now available on both Android and iOS. So, you can go ahead and download the game via your respective Google Play Store or App Store and enjoy the 10% launch discount.
