- Dead Account: Two Blue Flames is in development by the team behind Seven Knights, following their anime adaptation news.
- The game will feature character collection and progression systems.
Smilegate has announced that they’ve secured a licensing agreement for the game adaptation of Kodansha’s popular manga, Dead Account, with the game titled Dead Account: Two Blue Flames. Currently in development by IAAN Games, it will be a cross-platform roguelite title.
Experience the unique supernatural action story even better
All Dead Account fans should be excited now, as Dead Account: Two Blue Flames is in development by the team behind Seven Knights. This is more interesting, as just recently it was announced that the manga is also getting an anime adaptation set for 2026.

For those unfamiliar, Dead Account is a supernatural action manga by Watanabe Shizumu, the creator of Real Account and A Trick for the Witch. The story follows Soji Enishiro, whose little sister is killed by an evil spirit and transformed into a digital evil spirit. I find the blend of exorcism and digital horror really cool.
Players can look forward to a team-based roguelite, soon playable on both mobile and PC
Game details are still limited at the moment, but it’s set to be a team-based roguelite with character collection and growth mechanics. Moreover, it will also support cross-platform play, launching on both mobile and PC. Now, I’m genuinely curious to see how the game will capture the manga’s vibe.
Like Oh Byung-jin, Smilegate’s Director, I also have high hopes for this one, especially as he said, “We expect the game adaptation of Dead Account will go beyond a simple intellectual property (IP) expansion.” For now, all we can do is just wait and see what the devs are cooking for us.
