Square Enix has announced that a new Horror mystery game called PARANORMASIGHT: The Seven Mysteries of Honjo will be launched for PC, Switch, and mobile devices on March 9. The game will follow a unique style of a 2D visual novel based on a single-player campaign.
Paranormasight will revolve around investigating and solving horror mysteries
The game will have a chilling feels to it, it will take players all the way to Japan where they will take the role of a detective and investigate a curse that has the city curbed in its grasp. This unsettling tale takes place in the Sumida Ward of Tokyo, Japan, in the late 20th century. Unravel the hopes, dreams, and fears of these unique characters who find themselves in the grip of deadly curses, as their motivations intertwine in a story that twists and turns.
Shogo Okiie will be expected to be the main character which the players will take control of in the game. In the beginning, Shogo Okiie will not really believe the curse and play it off, but will be convinced eventually after witnessing the phenomenon unfold in front of his eyes. The game will be structured on an episode basis, with different investigations in different chapters. The cases will vary accordingly too.
Players will be able to play several cases with one aspect in common, which will be the curse. The cases will include a series of strange deaths, a high-school girl seeking the truth behind her classmate’s suicide, and a mother who has sworn revenge for her lost son. There is a lot of content the game has to offer with this new horror mystery title.
