The Legend of Heroes: Gagharv Trilogy is shutting down this September 25, after just one year of service

FOW Games has announced the shutdown of its classic fantasy JRPG, The Legend of Heroes: Gagharv Trilogy, scheduled for September 25 on Android and iOS in the Global and Asia regions. This legendary series, consisting of three iconic titles by Nihon Falcom, first launched on August 28, 2024.

The game is set to release in Japan by HUNT Games this December 3, 2025, with pre-registration currently available via the Google Play Store and App Store. For now, it’s only available in South Korea.

Despite efforts, the game will close after over a year of service

The Legend of Heroes: Gagharv Trilogy brings together three iconic classics, The Legend of Heroes III: Prophecy of the Moonlight Witch, The Legend of Heroes IV: A Tear of Vermillion, and The Legend of Heroes V: Song of the Ocean, faithfully reimagined for mobile users.

Here, you can enjoy the adventures of three heroes across different continents, uncover ancient secrets, and collect over 100 unique characters. Each hero has their own skills, letting you build powerful teams to tackle boss battles, raids, and quests. You can also join friends for cooperative battles.

Unfortunately, Director Lee Jong-joo announced on the game’s official website that it would shut down on September 25, in the Global and Asia regions, stating, “Due to the sales scale in these regions and the overall efficiency of operations, we have determined that it is no longer possible to continue providing a stable service.

Players can continue playing on Korean servers after EOS

The team will disable paid services on September 4, but you can enjoy the game until the EOS date. After this point, downloads, updates, and support will only be available via Korean app stores. Plus, your linked accounts will be duplicated and transferred to the Korean region from September 4.

The good news is that if you already have the game installed before service ends, you’ll still be able to update it as long as you don’t uninstall it. You can also refund requests for unused Blue Garnet, time-limited premium products, and unclaimed packages from September 25 to October 31.
