Arwen Undómiel, a brave Half-elven warrior, has been added to the roster of collectible heroes, bad guys, and other Middle-earth residents playable in May 2023 update to the epic mobile RPG The Lord of the Rings: Heroes of Middle-earth by Electronic Arts and Capital Games, experts in mobile RPGs based on beloved franchises. Arwen will be available in-game from June 9th.
Arwen is one of the first heroes to appear in The Lord of the Rings: Heroes of Middle-earth, and she represents only the first of many updates the development team expects to make to the gameplay and in-game material. Arwen is one of the 46 light and shadow characters that were initially introduced.
Introducing Arwen Undómiel, the immortal Half-elven daughter of the Lord of Rivendell
As she does damage and heals, this new light hero has the potential to give strong support to a player’s established fellowship. The Lord of Rivendell’s eternal Half-elven daughter, Arwen Undómiel, is a skilled fighter and formidable warrior. She can be utilized to transform enemies into allies for the good of the group, deliver significant damage with her potent Guarded Slash basic ability, bolster squads or extend assistance.
This update reveals more about Arwen’s kit, which includes information on the character’s abilities—basic, unique, and special—as well as tips and techniques, important characteristics, and information on the inspiration behind the character’s design; including:
- Guarded Slash
- Arwen’s Basic Ability
- Deals 90 percent damage to an enemy target
- Gives the player a 50 percent chance to grant 1 stack(s) of Defensive to the most wounded squad member
- Upgrades available and detailed in the Kit Reveal
- The Evening Star
- One of Arwen’s Special Abilities
- Can cleanse one Bane(s) from the two squad members with the most Banes
- Grants one stack(s) of Regeneration for one turn(s) to all squad members
- Buffs, Debuffs, and Statuses
- More Basic, Special, and Unique abilities and others!
The development team used a variety of plots, characters, weapons, artifacts, and other elements from Tolkien’s literary works to create Arwen as well as the existing and upcoming characters. They also based their work on the rich lore of The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit.
Or the Elessar, also called The Elfstone, was a green gem set on a silver eagle-shaped brooch containing the light of the Sun. Both were exquisitely crafted objects manufactured by the finest Craft-Elves of Rivendell. Starting on June 9, Arwen will be available, and more characters will be revealed soon.
