Tilting Point collaborates with Netflix to launch three exclusive mobile games

Netflix Games is expanding!

With no commercials or in-app purchases, some mobile games will soon be available on Netflix thanks to a collaboration between Tilting Point, a well-known publisher for independent developers worldwide, and the streaming service Netflix.

The first two Tilting Point games to be released on Netflix are the amusing cooking game SpongeBob: Get Cooking, based on the Nickelodeon characters, and Narcos: Cartel Wars Unlimited, based on the popular Netflix series from Gaumont. A brand-new third mobile game based on a well-known Netflix series is also being developed by Tilting Point in partnership with Netflix and Emerald City Games and will be released exclusively on the streaming service in 2023.

A cooking game called SpongeBob: Get Cooking, which goes on sale in all countries on September 27, offers players to tour Bikini Bottom and other destinations while wowing regular customers with delectable dishes in recognizable buildings and eateries from the popular Nickelodeon brand.

SpongeBob: Get Cooking is based on the popular SpongeBob: Krusty Cook-Off video game by Tilting Point, which has been downloaded over 58 million times and won the People’s Choice Award at the 2021 Mobile Game Awards.

The next game coming up this fall is the base-building strategy game Narcos: Cartel Wars Unlimited, which encourages players to assume the risky and exciting position of a cartel kingpin and choose between establishing respect via devotion or leading through brute force. The original Narcos: Cartel Wars, upon which Narcos: Cartel Wars Unlimited is based, is a top-grossing game with over $60M in revenue since launch and over 20 million players.

The collaboration with Netflix broadens the portfolio of Tilting Point, which already includes entertainment services for PC, console, mobile, and other platforms. By scaling their games through UA funding and management, app store optimization (ASO), ad monetization, platform deployment, Web2 to Web3 services, and more, Tilting Point has consistently accelerated and amplified success for mobile game developers.

The company then works with existing partners to strengthen those relationships through M&A and co-development. Favorite games of players are exposed to new audiences and have their worldwide reach increased by Titling Point’s continual expansion into new services like Netflix.
