- Azur Games dominated the download charts with over 117 million installs in March.
- Tencent remained the top-grossing publisher, earning nearly $500 million despite a dip in revenue.
- Century Games and Dream Games remain in the revenue charts, continuing their consistency.
Once again, I’m back with the top publishers list, and well, we have some interesting names popping up. The established publishers are still leading the charts, but there have been a few changes in the ranks. So, let’s dive into the details of the top mobile game publishers for March 2025.
Best Mobile Game Publishers by Downloads for March 2025
Azur Games has maintained its position at the top of the downloads chart for the third straight month now. Now, this month, it finished with an impressive 117.2 million downloads. The publisher’s strategy of releasing multiple hyper-casual games continues to pay off, keeping it ahead of competitors.
BabyBus secured second place with 79.2 million downloads, maintaining its strong presence in the children’s educational games market. The biggest surprise came from Miniclip, which jumped to third place with 78.6 million downloads from 6th place.

Multiple factors might have likely driven this change, be it the enduring popularity of its classic fun-to-play titles, and even with the help of titles from Easybrain, which Miniclip snapped from Embracer Group in a $1.2 billion deal last year.
The top five was completed with Voodoo securing fourth place with 67 million downloads, while SayGames rounded out the top five with 66.7 million downloads. Other notable mentions include Supercent at 8th with 47.4 million, and iKame Games – Zego Studio and ABI Games completing the top 10.
Meanwhile, Tencent Games, despite its strong portfolio of blockbuster games, placed 14th with 32.6 million downloads. It has been tumbling down the order for a while now, while being ranked 11th and 12th in January and February, respectively.
Best Mobile Game Publishers by Revenue for March 2025
While download numbers highlight popularity, revenue rankings showcase financial dominance. Although its downloads paint a different picture, Tencent Games once again led the pack, generating a staggering $496 million in revenue, although this was a noticeable dip compared to the first two months.
Following behind, Century Games secured second place with $169.8 million, as Dream Games, the studio behind Royal Match, maintained its upward trajectory, securing third place with $160 million in earnings.

FUNFLY PTE. LTD. and Playrix took fourth and fifth place, generating $157.1 million and $152.7 million, respectively, as they continued to dominate the puzzle and casual game markets. Meanwhile, Scopely and King retained their presence in the top 10, earning $148.5 million and $143.6 million, respectively.
NetEase Games, following the 2nd place earlier this year, tumbled down to 7th last month and again slipped to 8th place with $121.7 million. The Pokémon Company had a better March compared to last month, finishing with $103.5 million.
Rounding out the top 15 were Supercell with $96 million, Moon Active with $93 million, and Cognosphere Pte. Ltd, which landed in 12th place with $76.4 million. Additionally, Niantic, SuperPlay, and Peak Games made their way into the rankings, with earnings between $64 million and $71 million.
