Chaser Game Studio has announced an open beta test for their new 3D turn-based RPG, Ultraman: Warrior of Light, set for Android and iOS from January 29, 2026, in China. This is an officially licensed title that features all the characters from Tiga to Zeta across Heisei, New Generation, and Reiwa eras.

So, it looks like Ultraman is coming back to limelight with Ultraman Puzzle Shuwatch!!, Ultraman: Hero Beyond Time, and now this 3D turn-based RPG Ultraman: Warrior of Light. In this game, you can build your dream team of Ultraman, each with unique fighting style and skills, to protect Earth from monsters.
What stood out to me is how every Ultraman special move and iconic starting stance is recreated 1:1, and I can’t wait to try them out. Moreover, it also includes classic duo combination combined special moves from the original, so you can trigger the blazing energy unleased by Tiga Power Type and Tornado Type.
And not only as Heroes, but you can also switch to Monsters side to unlock unique protagonist templates and recruit classic rivals like Zetton and Baltan to form unique lineups. Overall, the game looks very promising, with content like Ultra Arena, Monster Graveyard, stunning visuals, collection, and more.
Ultraman: Warrior of Light is launching an open beta test on both Android and iOS from January 29, 2026, in China. If you’re from China, you can pre-register via TapTap China and App Store, and download it once the open beta goes live.
