Aldin Dynamics has announced to launch of its wizard sim, Waltz of the Wizard, now available on iOS and iPad with new features, a redesigned interface, and more. The Skully’s Fantastic Fails update will release at the same time across Steam, PlayStation, Meta Quest, and iOS. The game was first launched in 2019.
Step into a magical tower, mix spells, and experience an AR-based adventure
Waltz of the Wizard, the wizard sim RPG that sold nearly a million copies across other platforms, is finally coming to mobile. Inspired by classical fantasy fiction, the game lets you explore a magical tower, mix arcane ingredients, and team up with Skully, your hyper-interactive, skull companion.
One of the best parts is the addition of mobile-exclusive Reality Mode, which uses AR to make objects and Skully feel like they exist with you in-game. On top of that, there’ a full campaign packed with story, combat, and challenges, which looks very fun.
Join Skully, your chaotic sidekick, and explore the Courtyard
I’m especially eager to meet Skully, the star of the game. He even reacts to your actions in fun ways. With this launch, you can also enjoy the massive Skully’s Fantastic Fails major content update, which brings a new rocket launch section in the Courtyard, more than 1,000 new voicelines and reactions, a fully redesigned menu with a detailed Waltz Codex, and more.
Overall, the game looks very fun, offering dozens of magic abilities, absurdly detailed secrets, a large campaign, voice powers, infinite level generation mode, asymmetric co-op, a rebuilt touch interface, naturally intuitive gestures with unique interactions, stunning visuals, and more.
Waltz of the Wizard is set to launch on iOS this October 27. You can now download the game via the App Store for $7.99. That said, there’s no information yet on an Android launch. Stay tuned for more updates!
