More chaotic on a local level!

Story Highlights
  • Same Screen Multiplayer lets you play mini-games with friends on a single device.
  • Mini-games like Tennis, Racing, and Bubbles are now playable locally.
  • Apple TV and Mac versions also get split screen multiplayer support with multiple controller options.

Triband has kicked off a huge new update for its chaotic PvP online battler, WHAT THE CLASH?. This 2025 App Store Awards winner has finally introduced Same Screen Multiplayer! to the 1v1 game collection marathon. This was a feature the community has been asking for a long time.

You can finally enjoy same screen multiplayer gameplay on WHAT THE CLASH?

So, Same Screen Multiplayer! is finally available in WHAT THE CLASH?, which means you can now play mini-games with your friend on the same iPhone or iPad. And I personally believe this approach makes it more fun when you just want quick matches while hanging out together with your friends.

You can now try Tennis, Racing, Bubbles and more, with all being optimized for shared played on a single screen. And while it is a curated selection of the best mini-games now, but we can expect more to be added in the future. I guess it’s finally the time to renew Apple Arcade membership on my brother’s iPhone.

Moreover, the update is not just limited to mobile devices either. If you’re playing on Apple TV and Mac, you can experience mini-games across 5 genres in local split screen multiplayer on the big screen. What’s even cooler it supports various controllers, including an iPhone and even Siri Remote.
