Wild Rift Patch 6.1 Update: New Champion releases and reworks
Ryze

To kick off Wild Rift’s Patch 6.1, Ryze will be the newest champion joining the rift on April 17th. The Rune Mage, Ryze, is a mage hero named Realm Warp with a powerful ultimate ability. This ability allows Ryze to reposition and teleport easily alongside his teammates, allowing him to execute major Macro engages for your team.
Nocturne

Another champion hero that will debut in Wild Rift Patch 6.1 is Nocturne. Known as The Eternal Nightmare, it is a jungle assassin champion with powerful skill sets, allowing it to hunt down enemies across the Rift.
Zilean
Also known as the Chronokeeper, Zilean is 3rd new champion that will debut in Wild Rift’s Patch 6.1 update. He has powerful abilities that allow him to warp time, slow enemies and their attacks, granting you and your teammates the upper hand during core team fights.

Zilean can also turn back time to undo damage done to allies. This ability, if used well, will certainly turn the tide of battle.
Champion Reworks
Garen
The developers are hoping to make Garen a bit stronger when playing in the Baron Lane. His third ability, Judgment, will now deal even more damage while reducing the enemies’ overall armor.
Ambressa
Ambressa will be tweaked a bit to allow her to be more of a top Laner than a Jungler. Therefore, the developers will reduce her overall damage to monsters while increasing her sustainability and displaced immunity from her abilities.
Gameplay Changes
The Devs will be introducing some fun new additions to the Rift:

- Special portals will now appear on the Rift to toss out Enchanted Gifts during the Laning phase.
- Picking up these special portals will grant an active ability that triggers special effects, complementing your gameplay experience.
- Mage Boots like Boots of Mana and Ionian Boots of Lucidity will now grant more power, boosting the mage’s overall clearing ability and efficiency
- The Devs will be introducing a new Hextech GLP800 Boot enchantment that will aid mages, allowing them to deal bonus magic damage while constantly slowing them with freezing hits.
- The Devs will be introducing a new Bandle Fantasy item that empowers magic damage attacks by adding bonus damage to active skill attacks.
- Malignance is another equipment that greatly enhances your damage output by burning enemies and reducing their magic resistance, the more you attack them.
