Ionia is in danger and it needs the players to help protect it. To celebrate the launch of the two new Ionian champions, the popular MOBA known as Wild Rift has released an event, themed around Ionia. After Noxus´ attack on Ionia, both Karma, and Shen have rushed to the battlefield to try and restore peace and balance. Now they need the players to help them out, by completing numerous missions, in which the players will get rewarded with not only unlocking the two new champions but more. Therefore, they should not waste any time and come join the battle! We will discuss more details about the Protectors of Ionia event in Wild Rift, the missions, and the rewards such as new icons, emotes, and more.
Protectors of Ionia: Timeline of the event
The event starts today from the 24th of March, 2022. Players will have time till the 13th of April, 2022 to complete missions and earn points. The Token Shop will still be open after the event has already ended till the 20th of April,2022 to ensure that all players collected any rewards left. With players starting to log in, the event´s official page will pop up and direct the players to the missions and rewards. This is where players can find the missions and the affiliated event interface.
The event consists of twenty-one missions with one repeatable bonus mission. Every mission can reward players with Tokens, alternating between 10 to 80 Tokens. The missions have to be completed in order, and only 1 can be progressed at a time.
After completing all missions, a bonus mission will spawn which is repeatable and grants 34 Tokens each time. Let us check the missions and rewards that players can obtain from the Wild Rift Protectors of Ionia event.

If a player is among Ionia’s strongest protectors and manages to complete all the above missions, they will unlock a special repeatable bonus mission.

Points carry over between games, so if you have 11 points and complete a Ranked or Normal PVP match, your repeatable mission will refresh with 2 points already accounted for. Additionally, this mission can only be completed a maximum of 33 times.
Event Rewards
The missions give out Tokens for each mission which can be exchanged for various rewards all shown in the event exclusive Token Shop. Remember that the Token Shop will be still up even after the event has ended.
