The 2025 IGG World Championship just concluded after three days in Incheon and featured a host of prizes, interactive events, and surprises. The championship centered around three of IGG’s titles – namely, Viking Rise (29th August), Lords Mobile (30th August), and Doomsday: Last Survivors (31st August).
The Championship also offered a total prize pool exceeding $400,000, including cash prizes, in-game items, as well as physical merchandise. It was a massive celebration of the three featured games and their respective communities.

Players showcased their skills at the IGG World Championship
This was, unsurprisingly, IGG’s largest world championship event of the year. It saw players from all over the globe competing across three of its titles in different modes. Here’s a summary of how it went down in each game.
Lords Mobile event (30th August)
36 players across 16 countries and regions in 12 teams participated in the Lords Mobile event. T4K emerged victorious after holding a key in-game building the longest. Other winners included Pv3 and MrJ.
This event also saw the Invitation Match Mode introduced, with 18 South Korean players facing off in solo, 15-minute battles – fighting to control a key in-game building.
Viking Rise event (29th August)
The Viking Rise event featured 8 elite teams of 24 players. The first-ever offline tournament held for Viking Rise was focused on the Sacred Crucible Game Mode.
The teams played Sacred Crucible, where they delved into the Divine Realm and fought monsters as well as rival forces. r350 took the crown home as the champion with peak performance and near-perfect strategies; they brought the competition to a thrilling climax.
Doomsday: Last Survivors event (31st August)
On the final day, 32 top players in 4 elite teams took part in the Doomsday: Last Survivors event. An exclusive “Off Limits War” mode was created exclusively for the championship and saw a quartet of four squads fighting it out across 35-minute matches.
All four teams performed exceptionally well during the competition, and they all ultimately received the Champion Award! In the final segment, the medals of the four teams came together perfectly under the spotlight, creating a dazzling ultimate trophy that spelled out an exclusive gift code for the World Championship!
This gift code came as an exclusive surprise dedicated to players both online and offline around the world.
This year’s World Championship proved to be IGG’s biggest event
The 2025 IGG World Championship was a massive event that showed the power of the respective games and their communities, with the competitions just a small part of what happened. There were imaginative stage designs, special fan zones with giveaways, cosplay and character showcases, and a special DLS “Zombie Outbreak” experience that saw attendees interact with real zombies.

Additionally, IGG teamed up with many sponsors across gaming, tech, lifestyle, and entertainment industries to make the event bigger and better than ever before – for contestants, attendees, and viewers from home. It made it an unforgettable event and one we’re hoping will be repeated very soon.
