A brand-new Equipment Blast event is arriving in Clash of Clans this January 2026. Now, if you ask me what’s so special about this one, this event is shaping up to be one of the best opportunities yet for us to catch up on Hero Equipment and Ores.
Clash of Clans ‘Equipment Blast’ January 2026 Event: All you need to know
The event begins on January 9, 2026, and according to the season’s events calendar, it will run for just under two weeks, concluding on January 22, 2026. It will likely be available for Town Hall 7 and above, just like usual.
Once the event goes live, you’ll notice the event building placed on your base, similar to previous medal events.
Event Progression
The main event currency this time is called Dynamites, and progression is straightforward. You earn 20 Dynamites every time you destroy a Town Hall in battle, whether it is in a regular multiplayer attack, a ranked battle, or even a revenge attack.
However, unlike some past events where you could farm easy buildings on the edge of the base, this event specifically requires the Town Hall to be destroyed.
To reach the end of the main reward track, you need a total of 1,600 Dynamites, which means destroying 80 Town Halls during the event. There is also a bonus reward track for players who want to grind further. Reaching 3,900 Dynamites unlocks an additional 210 Relic Medals.
So, if we calculate, we will get to earn up to 3,610 Relic Medals in total. Note that this number is if you don’t purchase the event pass.
Event Pass Details and Rewards
For those who purchase the Event Pass, the value increases significantly, granting 5,500 additional Relic Medals alongside extra Starry Ore and Glowy Ore. With the pass included, you can reach a massive total of 9,110 Relic Medals. These can be spent in the Trader Shop on Hero Equipment and upgrade materials.
The theme of the event is simple: the Equipment Blast event is heavily focused on helping you progress your Hero Equipment.

Free players can earn a good amount of Relic Medals, plenty of equipment upgrade ores, and a free Meteor Scenery at the end of the main track.
So, as for the Hero Equipment list, we have these in store: Electro Boots, Magic Mirror, Action Figure, Snake Bracelet, Dark Crown, Heroic Torch, Frozen Arrow, Fireball, Spiky Ball, Rocket Spear, Lavaloon Puppet, and Giant Gauntlet. Alongside this, the event brings Mighty Morsel Magic Snacks.
The shop also features some cosmetics, such as the Grand Sorcerer Hero Skin, available only to Event Pass owners, and the Wish Lamp decoration. Overall, the event is very beneficial if you are lagging behind some Equipment and wish to catch up.
